What is an NFT?

A Non-Fungible Token is a digital asset that represents real-world objects like art, music, in-game items and videos. NFTs are bought andsold online, and each NFT has a unique identifying code – stored on a Blockchain – that ensures its uniqueness as a “digital collectible.” Effectively, they are enabling us to bring sports-card collecting online by making sure each digital asset – including images, videos, songs and more – can be completely unique and not duplicated.

What is The Bulls NFT Legacy Collection?

Beginning on July 26, the Bulls will release our first NFT collection, The Bulls Legacy Collection, featuring six unique token designs, across three different tiers and a total of 567 NFTs (non-fungible tokens) highlighting our six World Championship rings. Each NFT will feature cultural nods for Bulls fans to decode and team stats related to each year’s respective finals.

How does it work?

The Bulls will release six different NFTs, one for each championship year, with a drop happening each day between July 26-31. The numberof tokens released for each Championship ring will correspond to the year that ring was won, e.g., the Bulls will release 91 rings for the 1991 season and 98 rings for the 1998 season.

Each ring will feature three different tiers (legendary, iconic and rare), with six of each legendary ring (for a total of 36 legendary tokens), 23 of each ring being an iconic tier (for a total of 138 iconic tokens) and the remainder of each ring being rare (for a total of 393). The tiered system creates rarity within each year’s NFT and will allow us to create interesting challenges - offering unique Bulls rewards to fans who hold specific NFTs by a certain predetermined date - engaging fans beyond just the initial launch.

How will you ensure my Bulls NFT is unique?

Each NFT will have its own unique edition number, and that edition number will be “minted” onto the Blockchain along with transaction history, proving who owns the token.

Will I get to pick the tier of ring I will receive?

No, you won’t be able to pick the tier of the token you receive. For one price, you will buy a token (first come, first served) and upon opening your NFT you will find out your tier and edition number. All tiers and serial numbers will be assigned at random.

Can I resell my Bulls NFT?

Not initially. We won’t have a secondary market at launch, but our technology partner is working on rolling out a platform that may allow Bulls fans to sell & buy these NFTs on a secondary marketplace.

Will the Bulls have any challenges tied to their NFTs?

Yes, Bulls NFTs will also unlock unique Bulls’ experiences. For more details on the three challenges associated with this launch, please see more details below or at NFT.bulls.com.
